I wanted to change my fully enchanted netherite helmet from blast protection 4 to just protection 4 and found I was not being offered the option to just replace the enchantment as I have been before, so I disenchanted the helmet so it had nothing on it and then found it was “too expensive” to even have a single enchantment put back on it.
