Nintendo Switch
Minecraft Bedrock for the Nintendo Switch is borderline unplayable. Each update there is a new set of bugs, which only seem to affect the Nintendo Switch versions of the game. Examples and descriptions of such game-breaking bugs that have sprouted since version 1.16.201 include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Whenever a player connects to the world of a Nintendo Switch player, it lags their game every minute to minute and a half or so, whereas the host is unaffected. This includes Nintendo Switch players playing on the world of a fellow Nintendo Switch player. This is the most game-breaking bug in my opinion, since it completely obliterates and ruins an entire aspect of the game. I believe this is a bug that has been happening since before 1.16.201 as well.
2. Occasionally, when a Nintendo Switch player opens a chest or similar interfaces (such as dispensers, anvils, enchantment tables, etc.), opens their inventory, pauses their game, or opens their chat, instead of functioning as intended, a loading screen appears in the middle of the screen and can sometimes last up to 3 minutes. This can occur on multiplayer servers as well (Mineplex, Cubecraft, Lifeboat, etc.)
3. This bug isn’t specific to the Nintendo Switch edition of the game, but the Minecraft Marketplace takes a noticeably amount of time to load, and sometimes it doesn’t load at all.
I don’t even know if this is the fault of Microsoft, Mojang, or Nintendo, but it makes the game nearly impossible to play, which is especially upsetting due to the fact of the Nintendo Switch’s ability to be both a mobile device and a console device, which is a completely unique quality of the Nintendo Switch, so it’s a special device to Minecraft Bedrock players.
