This bug report is a parity issue with Java.
This is a minor mistake of Java parity, but if platforms tend to be the same, this mistake should be fixed someday)
In the Java version, players swimming within 9 blocks of dolphins gain Dolphin Grace for 5 seconds.
In Bedrock Edition, the player simply gains a speed boost with no effect status.
How to Reproduce
- Find or summon a dolphin.
- Swim for the dolphin to follow you.
Expected Results
The player will receive the effect of dolphin grace (as in the Java version).
Observed Results
The player will simply receive a speed boost with no effect status.
Notes
On the bedrock version, the acceleration from the dolphin is much less than on the Java (almost imperceptible, unlike the Java).
