I was working on building my trading hall. All of my villagers were there with me I had them organized and contained. I had 6 master level farmers

and 12 librarians all with the best trades possible. I spent days trying to get my 11 emerald trade unbreaking 3 librarian. Among mending, protection 4, the best trades and prices. Hours of work getting them. And they're gone. I literally turn around and all of a sudden 8 of my traded with villagers that I've had for months are gone. Months. Countless trades with theses villagers. And they're gone. I'm on peaceful mode. The had a bell and beds. There was nothing that would've caused this besides game error. Mojang if this is a bug I know you'll fix it but I also know there's nothing you can do for me. You can't just give me my villagers back. All you can do is fix the bug and say you're sorry. But I'm deeply. Extremely hurt. As anyone who's played the game knows. Please look into whatever this is. I know I'm just one in a million people who play but I'll be taking a long break from Minecraft because of this. Maybe permanently. The amount of hurt I'm feeling is a lot for someone who's sunck so much time and effort. 

If this was because of a hot fix (something an Xbox player can't opt out of or go back on) I'd be even more upset. The version won't let

me choose anything other that or beta and I'm not ok the beta.
