If you look at a block that can be water logged with anything other than a water bucket and press L2 and quickly switch to a water bucket during the press, you keep the water in the bucket and water-log the block as well. You can take the water back by an empty and full bucket, though the empty bucket does not fill up, so it might be a visual glitch. This glitch is much easier to reproduce with a keyboard and mouse(which I play on).
