Nintendo Switch
I am on v1.16.201 of Minecraft. I tend to play Minecraft with my spouse on a Nintendo Switch, there had never been any issues until today. I am unable to join a world we've been working together on for months. When I try to join I am greeted with an infinite "Locating server" message. On my spouse's screen, I am in-game, I am where I left off but I have no hitbox.
I once left the loading screen for 20 minutes to make dinner only to see I was still trying to locate a server? I tried restarting my systems more than once, uninstalled and reinstalled, logged in and out of my account but nothing seems to work. I went as far as to buy a new copy of Minecraft for my windows pc to see if it was just the system. That didn't work either.
We tested somethings and we both have come to know, I can create my own world and they can join me, and they can create a new world and I can join them. But the issue lies within the original world we had been playing on. I think my player files could have been corrupted during the last session or something of the sort. Please send help when you can, please, and thank you for your time.
