Whenever I try to create a new nether portal in the overworld (150 blocks away for example) it spawns me in the existing nether portal i already built in my base. It would also seem as though the entire nether biome in my world is crimson forest, I have tried to get into other ones but no matter how far I go it is still crimson forest.

I am not using any thirdparty software.
