After pruning a chunk on the outer islands of the End dimension that contained a destination end gateway portal linked from the main dragon island, the game did not regenerate the destination end gateway when those chunks were regenerated.

World was downloaded from our realm. Chunks were trimmed using Blocktopograph. When reloaded, the area around was fine, but the expected return end gateway portal did not generated at the expected location when the player went through the end gateway portal on the dragon island. The player was teleported to the expected area, but no return gateway portal was generated as would be expected.

This should be considered a bug and not WAI, as it is normal for OPs to prune parts of the end dimension to keep their world sizes smaller and thus avoid any upload / download bugs currently associated with Bedrock. It is unreasonable to expect OPs to have to perform such pruning by trying to trim around the end gateway portals. These should definitely be regenerated as part of the normal process for such structures.

Including screen captures of the NBT data for the source gateway as well as game captures showing the source portal entered and the destination where no return gateway was generated.
