I was playing some survival mode in singleplayer. I had just bought 3 ink sacks from a traveling villager and decided to make a book and quill to write down coords. I had all 3 items in my inventory. I popped em in there and nothing happened. I tried reopening the world and reopening minecraft, but it still didnt work.
