      The bug

This is the same as MC-208425.
If you are underwater walking against a wall, you unable to go into the swimming position even though you do not stop swimming when swimming against a wall if you first press W and then the sprint button or on xbox if you first move LS to walk forward and then press the sprint button you won’t start swimming. However if you first press the sprint and then move LS to walk forward OR press W on windows 10 you will start swimming. This can be annoying when trying to swim while being next to a wall.

      How to reproduce:

      1. Go underwater
      2. Walk against a wall
      3. Press the sprint button (ctrl on windows 10)
      4. Observed Results: Nothing happened, you didn’t start swimming.
      5. Expected result: You should start swimming.
      6. Go a little bit further away from the wall by walking backwards.
      7. Try the exact same thing again.
You will start swimming and if you hit the wall while swimming, you won’t stand up.
