NOTE: I could not find an option for Minecraft Education Edition, so I have had to classify this as affecting Bedrock version 1.16.200 (Minecraft EE uses the Bedrock codebase). It does not: Minecraft Education Edition is still in the 1.15 (Buzzy Bees) version, so this bug affects 1.15, not 1.16. This may also be Education Edition-specific.
When loading the end dimension in 1.15 Education Edition, the screen can get stuck on the "Building terrain" screen, as shown in this screenshot:
Every time the end is entered, the time spent on the loading screen increases, with it eventually never progressing. However, sounds from the Ender Dragon can still be heard in the background, likely meaning that the end is loaded. While hosting the world in multiplayer, I have been able to break other players out of this trapped loading screen by teleporting them to my position.
I am entering the end by falling into a End Portal block located at the coordinates 0 0 0, at the bottom of the world. I have not tested this for other coordinates, as it is annoying to have to close and reload Minecraft every time this happens.
