With the new engine, come new bugs. I get random performance drops over nothing. I had to switch from 16 chunks to 8 as the fps was too low. With the older engine I would get a sturdy 120fps but with the new engine I get about 80-90. Also, the game lags too much with the new engine and I don't know why.
