Xbox
Okay, so I own an Xbox Series X, and Minecraft Bedrock Edition, in terms of in-game performance, ran flawlessly. Constant 60fps at the max render distance, hardly (if ever) stuttered, was smooth as butter. Updating to 1.16.200 was a BIG mistake. Testing it out, got back into my world, render distance still at 22 chunks, as that was the max before, but once all the world loads around me, the game is constantly stuttering, feels like a 30FPS game at that point. This never happened before, as it ran flawlessly, but this RenderDragon implementation has done something to impact performance harshly on the Series X to where the max render distance feels unplayable. To have a "smooth" experience, I need to now lower it to about 16 chunks.
I've uninstalled, and reinstalled the game.
I've made a new world, shut off my Xbox completely, restarted it, all is the same. The only solution relies in an update. Crossing my fingers.
