On the PS4 edition of Minecraft, I get the "failed to load character (number)" error more than any other platform. My friends on other platforms say they have not gotten it since the buzzy bees update. However on the PS4 edition of the game it happens regularly and sometimes won't be fixed till I do a full reinstall of the game.
