I searched for something along these lines and didn't find anything.

Anyway, for me 1.16.100 worked perfectly fine. Realms and servers were loading and the game wasn't having any issues.

When 1.16.101 came, this brief period of being able to enjoy 1.16.100 came to an end. I'm not entirely sure why the update was released for Switch, as there didn't seem to be anything from the previous version that needed fixing.

Almost every single time I have tried to log on to a realm, it would bring up a loading screen. Not the realms loading screen, but a different one with bars reminiscent of the screen with the Mojang logo. The bars were on the panoramic background in the Nether, like the title screen.

This screen would never disappear. To get rid of it I had to restart Minecraft. Every time I closed Minecraft, it showed "The software has closed due to an error."

Reopening Minecraft doesn't fix the problem. It persists.

TL;DR: Whether I am able to open a Realm or not depends on a roll of the dice. In other words, I have to be lucky.
