Summary:

While I played on Nintendo Switch v1.16.101 and on PS4 v1.16.100 Minecraft, I have experienced invisible mobs that I cannot defend against when they attack unless crouched with a shield. During the same gameplay on cross-platform , my friend playing in my world from their Xbox One  has also experienced invisible mobs both cross-play from my Switch world and PS4 world. We have encountered this twice on Switch in the Nether and twice on PS4 once in the Nether and once in the Overworld. This also happens even while playing solo. The mobs can be heard, but they cannot be seen or attacked when this bug randomly occurs. I did not see another report issued in regards to this specific bug.

Steps to Reproduce:

None known steps to reproduce bug; random occurance.

Observed Results: 
When roaming around the Nether or Overworld we are randomly encountered by an invisible mob with no known pattern causing this specific bug. So far bug has occurred between 16Nov-24Nov2020 on all 3 platforms.

Expected Results: 

Invisble mobs shouldn’t occur.

Random bug; unknown pattern to occurance.

Occured multiple times on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch recent versions as of Nov2020 during multiplayer cross-play and solo play.
