Me and my friend play in a minecraft bedrock creative world almost every day, and just a couple hours ago i got stuck on a screen saying "Locating Server", and it wouldn't go away. My friends told me my body spawned in but they couldn't teleport me, hurt me, do any commands on me, but it said i was in the world. I tested many things and reasons why this was happening.
(NOTE: This was Version 1.16.40, and we had a texture pack enabled on the world. We all play on Xbox One. I tried connecting to the world on my PC and on my Xbox, both did not allow me to connect.)
I tried an alt account. I connected, so this means it wasn't an internet connection error.
I tried restarting and hard-resetting Minecraft and both of our consoles. It didn't work.
I tried using wired and un-wired connection. Both didn't work.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft on both consoles. It didn't work.
We tried unfriending and refriending eachother. It did not work either.
Many things we tried did not work. However, I was able to join my friend on another world. It was only this specific world and its copies that did not allow me to join. Does anyone know a solution to this? The world cannot be corrupted as another friend of mine joined my friends world fine, my alt joined it fine, but my main account cannot join without being stuck on that "Locating Server" screen.
(DONT REDIRECT ME TO THE "SOLUTION". THE XBOX LINK IS OUTDATED AND OUR NAT TYPES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. TRY TO FIND OUT WHATS WRONG, SO ALL THESE PEOPLE INCLUDING ME CAN ACTUALLY PLAY THIS GAME.)
