When placing a sign in my 9th inventory slot, it switches to the 8th

      When placing a sign which is in my 9th hotbar slot, as soon as the menu opens, I am switched to the 8th hotbar slot. It is rly wierd and I have no idea why, but it doesn't do the same for any other slots, just the 9th to the 8th.
