My dog will not sit

      My tamed and named dog will not sit. I looked it up everywhere and I saw someone say report to this site. I am on the Nintendo Switch version and I saw someone say to break the block underneath the block they are standing on. It did not work. Also my dog attacks monsters when I don't attack them.
