Note that as I am unable to boot the game, I'm not sure what version I am running against. Is there another way to check this?

After installation directly from the Microsoft Store, the app will go through the red Mojang screen, and then sit there on the white loading screen with the bars at the bottom. As soon as I see the menu screen, the app crashes.

I've reinstalled the app several times, and each time the same thing happens. In this case, I actually did download a Bedrock server, and start that up before I ever opened the app itself, not sure if that might cause issues.

There's a bug, or perhaps it is intentional, that causes one to have to run:

      CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

before being able to connect to the server running on localhost. I've gone back in and run:

      CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -d -n="Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

To remove it, but no luck.

I've also reverted my GPU drivers to an ancient version, and even gone as far as uninstalling them. When they are uninstalled, the app does the same thing.

Note that this is Windows Pro N, so by default the Media Feature Pack does not come installed. I've downloaded the latest version directly from Microsoft, yet it says that the:

...update is not applicable to your computer.

yet I still suspect that this has something to do with it.

I've looked in %LocalAppData\Packages\Microsoft.Minecraft... for any useful log information, but haven't found anything.

What else can I do to troubleshoot this, bar re-installing Windows? If it comes down to it, that might be worth it, cause, you know, Minecraft. But are there any logs, system information, reinstalling, etc. that I can do before doing anything too drastic?
