In the vanilla resources, there's a file that's named "shadows.material". In 1.16.40, this file is used to render entity shadows. In both 1.16.100.59 and 1.16.30.53 RTX however, this file does nothing.
Steps to Reproduce
- Download the pack named "Entity Shadow Removal" (attached below)
- Load into either 1.16.100.59 or 1.16.30.53 RTX
- Spawn a mob, throw out an item, or something else that creates entity shadows
Here, the pack doesn't work as it does in 1.16.40, which is to stop entity shadows from rendering.
