I've only experienced this bug in the nether, but it is a very deadly bug that causes the player to take suffocation damaging while not in any blocks. No hunger damage or anything, just random damage. I mostly experience this bug after i go into a nether portal, and I'm in a nether tunnel. Please fix, lost many items to this random damage.
