      FIXED
The issue was due to the fact I had three-finger tap zoom enabled on my iPhone, disabling this solved the problem. Please disregard the rest of the description.

I have an issue where I'll be doing whatever in Minecraft and suddenly the game freezes, then slightly speeds up. During the time it speeds up, and I have no control over my character. Also when it speeds up my character jumps and moves around, I'm guessing performing all the actions I was trying to do when it was frozen. The strange thing is that this seems to be triggered whenever I jump (not auto jumping.) I have been able to go a very long time in both single and multiplayer by simply not jumping, and the problem does not occur. However, the moment I jump, it starts again. Here is a list of things I have tried.

      • Deleting and redownloading the game
      • Making all visual settings the lowest, for example, render distance 8, no clouds, no beautiful skies, no smooth lighting, and no fancy graphics.
      • Turning off Wifi on all other devices so that my iPhone is the only one using it
      • Restarting iPhone (XS Max)
      • Also made sure iPhone was not on low power mode

The server I have been trying to play on is Hive, and they say my ping is only 61. Both my internet and Wifi are fine, and all other games work just fine on my iPhone. I've been playing Minecraft since 1.4 and I still love playing the game, it's just frustrating when it doesn't work. I hope I get a response soon, thanks in advance.
