When attempting to join my friend's worlds I get stuck on a "locating server" loading screen that is infinite however within the world in question my avatar will be standing lifeless at spawn and it'll say I'm in the world.
This problem came after I solved the 'infinite mojang loading screen' issue, which prevented me from starting the game, by clearing saved data and reinstalling the game.
