"PLAY OFFLINE" is showed and newly released games won't download even though the launcher detects them

      The first time I wanted to launch 18w31a the button displayed "PLAY OFFLINE" and the launcher wasn't able to download the game even though it had already detected the release of 18w31a (see screenshot). However when I re-started the launcher, everything returned normal.
