Launcher Error and Dont See Skins

      On my windows 10 pc, the new launcher with the 1.12.2 version dont works, i dont know why. So i have installed the old launcher, and now i can play, but i only see the all player skins on the 1.8. But i need to play the latest version, and on this, i only see steve and alex skins. Please help me!
