The launcher itself will boot up yet once I hover my mouse over the icon on the taskbar when it booted up it shows the preview window without the usual launcher in it. Its just a blank window titled: "Minecraft 1.12". Aswell once clicked upon it brings me to my desktop nothing there but the desktop. It launches the application but the actual window is not there, it only shows in the taskbar. But the standard Play button or windows of the launcher are gone.
I have tried to repair the launcher through the website, deleted all versions and re downloaded aswell as update and restart my own PC.
Re installing Java did not work either.
