When I try to start up my minecraft, it answers with an error that it can't find java runtime. I've had similar problems with the old launcher but then the problem occured in game, where I could still get to the start menu. Since I updated the launcher to 2.0.806 I can't even start up the game. I am one of the people who was suffering from the 'lag spike of death' in singleplayer, but multiplayer worked just fine.
What I expected to happen was...:
When I click the Play-button I excepted the game to start up.
What actually happened was...:
I clicked the play-button, the game tried to launch but quickly responded with the following error: Unable to locate the Java runtime.
Error details: The system can't locate java runtime
Filename on disk: javaw.exe.
Path: C:\ProgramData|Oracle\javapath\javaw.exe
Exists: Directory
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the minecraft launcher
2. Click the play-button
3. Returns the error message
Additional info:
I've tried to enable and disable my own set pathway but it didn't help. I've reinstalled Java a couple of times already and reinstalled minecraft launcher as well, but both did not seem to solve the issue.
