I cannot play minecraft

What I expected to happen was...:
It should just load 1.11.2...

What actually happened was...:
It said that it cannot download some files so I logged out and I tried to login but it said "Could not connect to server" and I can't login to Minecraft.net.
I can only login to Mojang...
