The new Minecraft launcher is absolute garbage.
The looks of it is ugly, it doesn't work and it can't even verify Minecraft versions LOL.

Says the version I'm trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version. Shows it can't detect versions. It's literally 1.8.9 with Optifine.

Second screenshot attached.
Says it can't download the required files because it's in offline mode even though I'm connected to the internet, lmao and I have full bars too for that matter.

I also have a question, how can I downgrade my launcher to the one that I had before this one.
And also how do I turn off auto-updates for the launcher?
