Problem with Minecraft Updater

      When I click on the Minecraft app and get it started, the Minecraft Updater opens with a window that says downloading runtime. It keeps redownloading the 59.55 MB it needs and eventually a window pops up saying it is Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher. What's going on here?
