Unable to update the native minecraft launcher

      What I expected to happen was for Minecraft to download normally, what actually happened was that it ended up saying at the end of the runtime download,

      Minecraft Updater
      "Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher"

      1. I download Minecraft.dmg
      2. A little pop up says
      Updating Minecraft
      Downloading runtime
      3. After downloading it says Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher.

      PLEASE HELP ME!
