I launch the game and whenever i do this it loads up and gets to the launcher it just freezes and has the loading icon and wont let me play or edit the profile

      What I expected to happen was...:
      Describe what you thought should happen here the Minecraft launcher would launch perfectly fine like it has every single other time i have launched it and i would be able to click play

      What actually happened was...:
      Describe what happened here the Minecraft launcher did not load all the way and there was no play icon and i could not edit my profile or switch my user
