Recently I had to do a rollback on my computer, it did not affect my other games but it affected Minecraft. The day before the roll back, Minecraft started and ran fine.
When I opened the Minecraft.exe file, it brought up the white background and the word things, then take me to the login screen where I can play minecraft no problems. (I'm not a technical person if I'm being honest, but I've searched up everything that could be wrong and nobody has answers.)
Instead, after the roll back, when I run the Minecraft.exe file it goes to that same screen but won't go past the words " Bootstrap (v5) " . It doesn't freeze in the sense that I have to open up the task manager because the program won't respond, it just stays on that screen until I exit out because I'm tired of waiting.
I've tried redownloading the game, deleting everything related to it and so on, but it's the same program. Even when I pulled my mods and resource pack out it still did this, so it wasn't the mods.
I spent money on this game, I would really love if it would actually decide to work on my laptop. If anyone knows what's going on, please help.
