Minecraft Launcher version 2.4.4 introduces a regression that causes the […] button to no longer function in the "Installations" screen.
The last version of the Minecraft Launcher that still has a working […] button is 2.3.646.
This issue affects all platforms that the Minecraft Launcher is available on — macOS, Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Store.
This is occuring in both release/production and beta channels, since both are currently set to the same version as of this writing. (※ 2.4.4 as reported by .version, or 2.4.4-1.2.4 as reported by the launcher UI)
Reproduction steps
1. Start Minecraft Launcher version 2.4.4.
2. Open the "Installations" tab.
3. Mouse over any profile instance and try to click on the […] button.
4. Observe as nothing happens.
5. Downgrade to Minecraft Launcher version 2.3.646 and start it with the (undocumented) --skipUpdate argument to prevent the launcher from being updated.
6. Repeat the same steps as above, and observe the feature working correctly.
