I just paid for and downloaded the minecraft.dmg and installed. As part of the installation process, there was an automatic notification to download java, which I accepted. Installation appeared to complete without any other problems. Then, I tried to launch it but nothing happened.
When I looked at the Development Console tab in the launcher window, saw the following log entry. I've also attached the entire log text to this issue. Please let me know how we can move past this. BTW, this is for my son, and is under the account profile JoeBoo1234.
19:19:23 FATAL]: Fatal error launching game. Report this to http://mojang.atlassian.net please!
