Minecraft Launcher will not install, producing the error "Unable to update Minecraft Native Launcher".

Tested solutions (All have failed):

• Updating Java to latest (inc. uninstalling and re-installing Java)
• Uninstalling Minecraft and deleting all minecraft folders in AppData and Program Files (x86)
• launcher.log (provided in bug report) mentioned libcef.dll which is missing on the machine in C:/Windows/SYSWOW64. Tried copying libcef.dll from one 64bit machine to the 64bit machine which has the problem (ran regsvr32 libcef.dll in the SYSWOW64 directory) and rebooted the computer. launcher.log still mentions libcef.dll near termination
• Restarting PC
• Running Minecraft Launcher in administrator mode
• Downloading launcher from Microsoft Store
• Downloading launcher from Minecraft website
