Whenever I click on the launcher it starts to install an update, gets to about 90% and then a new dialogue box opens and says "unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher" click OK and it closes. Click on the launcher again and the same happens.

I have tried a clean install making sure to delete my .minecraft folder and making sure it is deleted from the Recycle Bin.
