      Hello,

Today I had a bad experience with a bug in the launcher that caused me to lose a world I had created and played on last night.

I'll explain the details I can remember.

Upon launching the Minecraft launcher last night, it only remembered/loaded my login information after the third attempt of opening the launcher. I then proceeded to open a new installation of version 1.18.2 on my account which had previously been migrated to a Microsoft account.

I did not notice it at the time, but all the worlds that were in my .Minecraft saves folder were not showing up in the singleplayer worlds list, although they were still in my saves folders.

I created a new world, played it for about an hour and a half, and saved and quit for the night after building a nice house.

This morning when I opened the Minecraft launcher again, on the screen where you choose an account to use, I saw two options: My migrated Microsoft account, and the same account shown as a Mojang account. I chose the migrated Microsoft account, and opened the game as usual. I noticed, however, that it had to download version 1.18.2 again, even though it had already been downloaded the night before. Upon going to my singleplayer worlds list, all my normal worlds were there... except for the one I had created the night before. It had vanished into the void, seemingly gone forever due to some strange bug in the launcher.

I'm quite disappointed and angry about this, as I was quite attached to that little house I made, so I sincerely hope this issue gets resolved. I don't understand how it could be possible, as it seems rather straightforward to save a world to the saves folder... nothing like this ever happened before Microsoft accounts were involved.
