Hello Mojang team
I used to own both the Minecraft bedrock and Minecraft java editions. Both worked fine. I bought bedrock through the Microsoft store and the java edition through my Mojang account.
I have transferred my java edition Mojang account to a Microsoft account, and I can play java edition using the Microsoft account.
However, the Minecraft bedrock edition has stopped working. Opening with the old bedrock launcher opens a demo version. Whenever I press the button to sign in, I am redirected to the Microsoft store to buy Minecraft bedrock. (btw, kinda scummy how the "sign in"/"sign in for free" buttons redirects to a $30-$50 purchase)
In the new launcher, I don't have the bedrock (windows) edition. I have tried to log on using every possible Microsoft, Mojang, and email I could have used to buy the bedrock edition.
I think I bought Minecraft bedrock with the same Microsoft account that was used in the migration. Could the migration overwrite my previous ownership of the bedrock edition? Does owning Minecraft bedrock edition not give me access to the Minecraft windows edition? I thought the two were the same.
I'm just very confused why I cant play bedrock anymore.
Thanks,
Martin
