Able to use versions 17 and before. MC 18 + 18.1 crashes when attempting to load them. It does attempt to load version 18 for a little bit before it crashes. So, it is not like "an attempt to launch version 1.18, and instant crash upon pressing the button."
I have attempted to find Mac System Requirements for MC 1.18 + which would resolve the mystery about what is required. However, they are NOT available. According to the latest System Requirements available, I am current on everything as required.
