Minecraft 1.16 wont load but 1.12 will

      For some reason when i try to play minecraft 1.16 it doesnt load all the way and the app stops on me recently ive been playing FTB Revelation which takes place in 1.12 and minecraft can for some reason only run 1.12 please help i paid good money for this game and im going to play 1.16
