Since the version 1.2.1 of the launcher and the launchwrapper (https://github.com/Mojang/LegacyLauncher/commit/3abceec79f58c87c2d8e927a45c822d25e71773e), Indev versions of the game are supported, but it actually crash instantly with any indev / 0.31 / early infdev version.

It's caused by the old authentication server being unavaible, this has been fixed in infdev :

and most probably can be solved by setting up the old auth server, making it redirect to the current one.
