Whenever I change my version somewhere under 1.15, the game gives me a message that game has crashed while trying to load the game.

In this case, I was trying to open 1.8.9.

Please fix this problem. Just to add, I have linux.

(I couldn't choose anything on the "Affects Version/s" thing but 1.6.93 (legacy) so please bear with me.)
