Currently when a new version of Minecraft launcher is released, as an Ubuntu user I need to manually download and install the .deb file from the website and install it.

Typically, packages on Debian based distros are updated automatically through a PPA.

Please provide a PPA for Minecraft launcher for debian based distros.
