If you start playing it will "close" the launcher, but actually its still running in your processes, and in this time it builds up a crazy amount of memory usage, I keep lagging out because the launcher is using insane amounts of memory usage without me even knowing its there, it appears to be closed and there is nothing in the tray in bottom right.
