Recently after the new launcher update including the gui overhaul I attempted to download minecraft 1.14.2 to which I was greeted with an error message stating that patchy-1.1.jar was missing. I tested 1.13.2 to see how wide the issue was; it worked fine. After this I completely deleted the .minecraft folder and uninstalled the launcher which only lead to the error spreading to all versions of java.

If you have any method of fixing this please let me know asap
