Here, you can see how the game looks on 1920x1080. And here, you see how it looks like on 2560x1080. Instead of seeing more things to the sides, like other games do it, you lose content vertically. In fact, you get exactly the same thing horizontally, but zoomed in.

This is horrible design and it needs change. In case you think that it's the good way to show a game on a wide screen, here are some examples:
