Local multiplayer on PS4 - can't select past characters

Ever since the cross platform patch went in, our family can't select our previous characters we used for local multiplayer on PS4 - the characters have disappeared - hope these have not been lost forever, we were up to character Level 145

Reported this on feedback channel and was asked to raise as a bug
