The “Sound The Alarm!” Achievement doesn’t work

The “Sound The Alarm!” achievement doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried multiple times on multiple worlds. I’ve even tried what people have suggested, like hitting a villager, and getting a golem to chase you, and then ringing the bell. No luck
